SportChek Mother's Day Run

Thank you to everyone who participated in the 36^th Annual SportChek Mothers Day Run and Walk - this year was record-breaking, with more than 15,000 participants!

Calgary Health Trust would like to thank the many dedicated volunteers and committee members who make this possible every year. Because of you, we have raised $200,000 for Calgary's NICUs to ensure they have the specialized equipment needed to deliver the best care to our tiniest patients.

Mothers Make a Difference

May is for celebrating mothers. They are a constant source of support and love. They kiss our bumps and bruises; care for us when we are sick and listen to all our troubles and if there is one thing that most mothers would want for this upcoming Mother's Day, it would be for their families to be happy, healthy and whole. Sadly, this isn't always possible. A kiss can't always cure what ails you and sometimes families experience tragic losses.

With Mother's Day just around the corner we thought we would honour three amazing women who have made an incredible difference even though they experienced loss and hardship as mothers. Though are forever changed by their experiences their stories are inspiring and we thank them for sharing them with us.
