The Summit Foundation held its 6th annual Heroes Among Us Awards Gala on Thursday, March 4, 2010 at the Calgary Golf and Country Club. The event was sold out thanks to generous community support.

The Gala recognizes heroes from the cystic fibrosis medical community who impact the lives of those afflicted with this disease. This year’s Gala honoured the contributions of the pharmaceutical community.
Funds raised through the event will benefit Calgary’s Microbial Communities Lung Suite and Research program at the Snyder Institute of Infection, Immunity and Inflammation. Since 2005, the event has raised an excess of $315,000.
