The Hope Hallway Committee, in partnership with Calgary Health Trust, is facilitating the Concert of Hope in support of Adolescent Mental Health at the Foothills Medical Centre.
This Concert supports the Hope Hallway Project, a creative re-design project which will transform the main hallway leading to Units 26 and 23 at the Foothills Medical Centre. These units see young patients come through their doors in the most challenging times in their lives; here they receive the specialized care they need to heal and start their path to recovery. The Adolescent Mental Health team strives to support therapeutic engagement of patients from the moment they arrive. By ensuring the patient’s first steps are hopeful, teen-friendly, and inspirational, it is possible to instill healing from the very beginning of their often difficult and overwhelming journey. The Hallway is truly the starting place of hope and healing for these patients.
The Concert of Hope is a multifaceted event, such as the care that patients receive on Units 26 and 23 of Foothills. Included in the evening is the following:
- A variety of wonderful performers, artists, and musicians who will share their talent on the stage in support of adolescent mental health.
- A special key-note address from Alison Springer
- Live-painting on the stage (with this painting available for purchase after the event)
- Silent Auction
