Family Fun Run/Walk
We invite you to join us for the 2019 South Health Campus Fun Run. This is a family-friendly event focused on having fun, being active and raising valuable dollars together in support of programs, equipment and education within South Health Campus. Early Bird registration for the event is $20, the All Seniors Care - Seniors Walk the Block is $15, under 16 Walk/ Run and entrance to Kid Zone is $5, and the price of adult registration changes to $25 as of August 1.
The Fun Run is a non-timed 5 km run/walk through the Auburn Bay community. The run/walk will start and finish at South Health Campus. Parents with strollers and wagons are welcome. Dogs will be permitted on a leash at the discretion of their owner.
Now in its 6th year, the event has raised more than $75,000 and has supported staff development, programs and unit priorities at South Health Campus.

Fundraising Deadlines and Information for Teams
1) Matching Prizes: Did you know that the Top 3 Fundraising Teams in the South Health Campus Fun Run will be eligible for a match donation to their Unit or Program? Put a team together and start raising funds today!
First Fundraising Team: 100% Matched up to $5,000 (The Top Fundraising Team will also win a Freshii Unit Party - valid for up to 20 people!)
Second Fundraising Team: 100% Matched up to $3,000
Third Fundraising Team: 100% Matched up to $2,000
2) Fundraising Deadlines:
*** Deadline for cash/cheque donations to be counted in Team Fundraising totals is 3 pm, September 4th, 2019. Any cash/ cheque donations received after this day will not be reflected in the team total on the Spin-a-thon day.
*** Deadline for online donations to be counted in Team fundraising totals is 12 pm (noon), September 6th (day before the Fun Run).
3) What can your team fundraise for? Team fundraising through the SHC Fun Run can go towards the purchase of equipment on your unit, as well as items related to patient comfort, or education. If you have questions about what your team can fundraise for, please contact Grace Fullerton – firstname.lastname@example.org .
4) Team Captains - Please submit the following information to Grace Fullerton by end of day, August 30th .

5) Package Pickup -
Wednesday, September 4th, Shawnessy Running Room, from 5-7:30 PM
September 5th and 6th, in front of the Wellness Centre, from 12PM-4PM
6) Kids Zone
Included in package pickup are wristbands for children registered for the Kids Zone and Kids Dash. Please ensure that your child has their wristband on, on September 7th, to guarantee entry to the Kids Zone!
